What Happens When You Fill Out Our Form - Dr Alejandro Molina

Find the answers and the support you need

We know what you are thinking: it feels strange to book a free video consultation with a specialist you have only met on the internet.

This video consultation is only a first step — to get to know each other, to talk about your condition, and to begin building the doctor–patient relationship. After that, if you decide to go ahead, we will meet face to face at the consulting rooms.

The steps, so we can help you

  • Step 1

    Book a free online appointment

A first video consultation costs you nothing. It is a first contact, so you can meet your surgeon and be told whether you need any further studies.

  • Step 2

    Have any further studies

If something is missing to assess your case properly, we will tell you exactly what to have done — so you do not spend time and money on studies you do not need.

  • Step 3

    Get an impartial recommendation

Once we have everything, a multidisciplinary group reviews your case individually and gives you a recommendation on the best strategy. The final decision is always yours.

What we operate on

Follow any of these through to the full patient guide.

  • Minimally invasive cardiac surgery

With these procedures we can perform open-heart surgery through small incisions of approximately 5 cm — less pain, fewer blood transfusions, and a faster recovery.

  • Valve surgery

Extensive experience treating conditions of all four heart valves — aortic, tricuspid, mitral and pulmonary — including the most innovative transcatheter techniques without open surgery: TAVR, MitraClip, TriClip.

  • Coronary bypass surgery

This surgery creates bypasses around the coronary arteries, relieving any obstructions to restore the flow of blood and oxygen to the heart and reduce the risk of future heart attacks.

  • Aortic aneurysm surgery

Aneurysms are abnormal dilatations of the aorta that can have very serious consequences. Where indicated we replace the diseased or dilated section — sometimes minimally invasively.

  • Complex aortic root surgery

Abnormal dilatation in this region can alter the anatomy and its function. It frequently affects the aortic valve, which then needs repair or replacement. This can sometimes be done minimally invasively.

  • Congenital conditions, tumours and pericardial disease

Tumours are rare but usually need removing as a priority. The pericardium is the sac covering the heart, which can become inflamed and compress it.

Questions before you book?

Is this first video consultation free?

Yes. The first consultation is at no cost. The aim is to have a first contact, for you to meet your doctor, and for them to tell you whether you need any studies — so that you save both time and money.

Which hospitals do you work from?

We carry out procedures at several hospitals across the country. Those we operate at most often are in Guadalajara (Ángeles Andares, Ángeles del Carmen, ICMI Puerta de Hierro, Country, Chapalita), Hermosillo (CIMA) and Querétaro (Ángeles Centro Sur, H+, Moscati), among others.

How do I get an initial assessment?

The simplest route is to request an initial video consultation. If it gives you confidence and feels like what you are looking for, then book a face-to-face appointment with your surgeon at the consulting rooms to discuss the treatment options.

Where can I learn more before booking?

Everything on this site is written by the specialists themselves. Start with the patient guides — particularly asking for a second opinion, how a Heart Team decides, and how safe heart surgery is.

Request your consultation

Tell us about your case and we will come back to you. If you already have studies — an echocardiogram, a CT, a catheterisation report — mention it and we will tell you how to send them.

If this is an emergency, do not use this form. Sudden severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting, or a tearing pain in the chest or back need emergency care immediately.
